‘Tis the Season to Recycle Christmas Trees

There are too many of these events to list individually, and hunting them all up is close to impossible. This is what I was able to glean in about three hours. The Washington State University Master Recycler Composters and Master Gardeners will be offering recycling of Christmas trees, holiday lights and styrofoam at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station starting Dec. 26. The organizations will accept live trees and wreaths, which must have all decorations removed. The transfer station on Tower Ave. in Centralia will be accepting the recycling from Dec. 26 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until Jan. 13. Questions may be directed to 360-740-1452

      Hello! I don’t have a direct connection with the troop, but here is its website. It does look like it is picking trees up tomorrow Saturday 1/5/2019 and Sunday 1/6/2019. But I can’t tell where: might be best to call or email the troop ScoutMaster.
