Organizers use The Muttering Game, invented by one of our Grandest Dames Judith Kolberg and revealed in her book Conquering Chronic Disorganization, to help our clients organize paperwork. A client picks up a piece of paper, mutters whatever comes to mind about the paper, and we Organizers write down the thought. Client puts down the paper – in a designated spot! – moves on to the next paper and mumbles the next mumbling. Over time, those murmurings add up to an organic filing system.

Hey, muttering works to figure out how to sort spatulas and can grips!! Wonder what else….

And of course, I’ll have colleagues shaking their heads at me “How long have you been simmering?” glass noodles in bowl  The glass noodles are finally cooked, the light is shining through.
